FlippyCat's dominoes is a very successful Youtube channel where as you might expect for a Youtube channel dedicated to dominoes this man sets dominoes up and then knocks them down. There are some great videos from him but this one is so far my favorite!

Christopher Boffoli is an amazing photographer who, besides photographing "real" things he also makes these tiny little imaginative scenes using food and tiny people to replicate day to day life.

There are some artists out there that practice the 'black hat' technique to art fame and this guy is one of them. I will not publish his name, twitter or website for two reasons one, what he did was dumb and screams look at me look at me and two his art seems very young and undeveloped. Not Cool!

Brunce Munro at Longwood Gardens

Brunce Munro is a light artist who was commissioned by Longwood Gardens in Kennet Square PA to create this beautiful light display. The exhibit will be up until September 11th, if you are in or around PA please go check it out. I will be sometime next month, Longwood Gardens alone is worth the trip but this beautiful exhibit makes it a must visit.

Phil Hansen is an artist I have been following for quite some time. It started for me with his influence video where he took the time to paint 30 people who influenced him in some way on his chest. Since then he has been taking on his goodby art (my favorite being "Jimi Hendrix on Fire"where he makes art out of everyday objects that by nature are temporary.

Now he has a new book called 'Tattoo a Banana" where he teaches a bit about using everyday objects to make art. Here is a little video about it. Pretty cool, would be fun to do with kids, and childish adults.

It is no secret I am in love with street art, social commentary and art with a sense of humor. These three collide into a super galaxy called Banksy where the level of brilliance is incomprehensible. Oversell... maybe, but I really love Banksy's work.

I first saw the one hallway on tumblr a while back and I could not find much, if any information on it. Well, I found some information on it, and it floored me... this design by Alejandro Muñoz Miranda is a kindergarten!

I think everybody would be better off spending time in such an amazingly colorful and artful place. This certainly takes care of the utilitarian feel many schools have.

Artist Floyd Elzinga uses shovel heads and other metal to create these amazing pine cone sculptures. I would love to see them in person and maybe one day own one. A grouping of these would be the perfect centerpiece in my yard.

Kristen Cummings : Jelly Bean Art

These iconic images are made of the iconic Jelly Belly candy. Kristen Cumings was commissioned by the Jelly Belly to create these images for their Jelly Belly Masterpieces of Confectionary Art collection. Each one has 8,000-12,000 Jelly Belly Jelly Beans and took 50 hours or more each one. I love these types of things, in fact when Kina Grannis released her music video featuring stop motion jelly bean scenery I was floored. These, I think are just as amazing.

Anthony Michael Simon : Spider Webs

I have always thought spider webs were amazing, and these take them to a new level. Anthony Michael Simon does this by catching spiders, making them spin webs onto these clear poles and then he both highlighted and preserved them by spraying them with a neon colored coating. Absolutely beautiful!
